Questions, answered simply
A few of the things people ask most — about the process, and about working with Adriana.
The Homebuying Process
What are the basic steps to buying a home?
Generally: get pre-qualified, house hunt, make an offer, apply for your loan, go through processing and underwriting, and close. Adriana will walk you through each step and what’s needed for your loan process.
How long does the loan process typically take?
Most loans close in about 30 days from application, though timing can vary based on your situation and the property.
What documents will I need?
Typically recent pay stubs, W-2s or tax returns, bank statements, and photo ID. Be prepared to provide information about assets and liabilities.
What do “pre-qualified” and “pre-approved” mean?
Pre-qualified is an initial estimate based on information you provide. Pre-approved means that information has been verified, giving you a stronger position when making an offer.
